Qout Market

Yesterday I went to check out Qout Market for the first time this season. If you don't know what that is, it is a rooftop market that runs on the first Saturday of every month. Booths are set up all along the Arraya rooftop parking lot with people selling artisan foods, drinks, crafts, flowers, snacks.. you name it.

I've always wanted to try coffee made this way and it was pretty good, but I think it was just a one time thing for me. Especially because a small cup cost me 2KD. I'll stick to my venti lattes, I think.

Below are the boys behind "Sloppy Moes". They make excellent sloppies (see the next picture) and have great energy going on in their booth. Highly recommend getting a sloppy moe from them.

Walking along the market you will also find live entertainment. These guys did a great job with providing everyone with live music.

Qout Market is sponsored by Zain, and they set up a photo booth for the market where you can take as many props as you want and get 4 pictures snapped of you. Free of charge. I thought this was a cool idea.

Sellers show off their products all over the market, like this flying thing right here.

And if you're still hungry, you can always get a Juicy Weiner.

Or SOLO pizza, which happens to be the bomb. Get the mushroom pizza and thank me later.

Location: On top of Arraya's parking lot (right next to The Courtyard Marriot hotel)
Timings: 9am- 5pm

If you're going, make sure to have cash on you and take a bag, because you don't usually get one when you buy something.
