The Balm's "Rock star palette" review and swatches

So basically, I'm not lying when I say that I was more excited getting this palette from a friend than I was while getting Naked 2 by UD. Lo and behold, only the most badass palette in the world- the Rockstar Palette "Balm Jovi" from The Balm cosmetics:

In addition to the badass names the shadows have, they also come in 3 different finishes. The "Heavy metal" category has 4 shimmer shades, the "Classical" category has 4 mattes, and the "Alternative" has 4 pearl shades.

Heavy metals:
Metal-ica, Iron Maid-in
Lead Zeppelin
Alice Copper

Classicals:
Agadio
Allegro
Moderate
Presto

Alternative:
Blink 1982
The Stroke
rem
Thir Eye Blinded

The palette also has a shimmery highlighter, a pink blush, and two lip/cheek stains.
Solid Gold, Don't You Want Me?, Milly, Vanilly

Having never tried anything by The Balm, I had no idea what to expect from this palette in terms of quality, but I actually love the silkyness of all the products. As you can see from the swatches the color pay-off is actually really good, and I'm really excited to be doing a rocker-inspired eye look using the shadows in this palette.

I hope this was somewhat useful, and expect the tutorial on the eye look really soon! xx
