I'm pretty sure that anybody who has Instagram knows about the ongoing exhibition at the Mishrif fair grounds called "Proud to be Kuwaiti". If you're one of those people who don't know about it, what P2BK is is a huge collaboration of different businesses in Kuwait (mostly Kuwait-based, if I'm not mistaken) under one roof. Or at least that's what it was last year. This year, they have taken it to the next level by building an outdoor village in the midst of the fair grounds in Mishrif. I thought it would be small and not too exciting.. until I went there.
They have everything from clothes to accessories to makeup to antiques to lots and lots of food (even a Starbucks!). I didn't get pictures of everything because the place was huge and it was very crowded, but it's worth checking out. People of all ages hang out and browse the place with their family and friends, it's all very homey and exciting.
Let me start off with saying that the crowds were insane. Parking was terrible, and I got pushed and shoved and my feet were stepped on. Which is why I would advise you to go early. Having arrived at 5 pm was bad, but by the time I was leaving at about 6, it took half an hour to exit the parking lot.
Nevertheless, it's always nice to see new things in Kuwait, especially things that are made by Kuwaitis. Here are a few pictures of the beautifully designed P2BK village.
The exhibition will be going until the 20th of this month. Check it out!

Wow! I love the pictures! I hope you don't mind me asking, but why are you living in Kuwait? Is it for work or school or something?

My family moved here when I was young, and I've been here ever since. :)
