Recently I've been itching to try out products that I heard a lot of good opinions on, so I decided to go ahead and buy myself some and see if I like them for myself. First I got some make-up.
I picked up the Revlon ColorStay foundation for combination/oily skin. They also make one for dry skin, which I think is great. My shade is 150 Buff Chamois, and I believe that is the lightest, if not one of the lightest, shade. This foundation has SPF 6 in it, so I recommend wearing it in the mornings only. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't come with a pump, which is a bit ridiculous, since its application can get a bit messy.
Next I bought the One By One mascara from Maybelline, and got the Expert Eyes Smoky Black eye pencil for free (they come in a pack, but I took them out of it). I've heard great things about this mascara, and I'm excited to try it out.
Then I bought 3 Soap and Glory products because Boots still has its "3 for 2" sale going on. I got a face wash, a hair conditioner, and a pore treatment. I've yet to try them out, because I'm waiting till I'm done with my current face wash, conditioner and pore mask run out. My face wash has maybe 3 uses left in it so yay!
THEN comes the big purchase. The one and only Macadamia hair range. It took me ages to find it in Kuwait, and I ended up spending over 30 Dinars on it, but I think it's worth it.
My set came with a shampoo (only 100ml, which SUCKS), their famous deep repair masque, hot oil treatment, a de-tangling pre-styling cream spray, and an oil-infused wide toothed comb.
I will review all these products after having used them for about a month, so stay tuned!
